These spice trees & allied agric-culture were originally introduced to the Nilgiris by the English. The management has consciously enriched the "spice sanctuary" with other enchanting trees such as Jacaranda and Spathodia. The resort has only a limited inventory of cottages & rooms, which to be very bluntly put - sell faster that sweet chariot cakes, so if you want a holiday or an offsite experience here, you must plan early & make a reservation well in advance.  
 
In keeping with the life style of the ancient Kurumba folk, the cottages are airy and exotic with their Kurumba tribal styled roofed cottages, which are pyramid shaped and bright interiors with pristine color and tiled work roofs. Every room has its exclusive balcony with ornamental railings made of areca-nut wood. The view is a mind boggling one of the hills & forest land.   
The getaway has been a great hit with people from across the nation & overseas...so much so that this is one of India's best holiday discoveries & offsite experience. A ‘must go' on a holidayer's life time list.  
This resort is not where you come & then wanna go out to other places for sights & views. It is one place where you come & do nothing but chill, chill & chill.
